aT/dC is a new multi-instrument duo who compose and perform reimagined arrangements of classic rock, based in Denver, CO.
aT (Adriana Teodoro-Dier) – grand piano, toy piano
dC (Doctor Cline) – classical guitar, ‘Ukulele, mandolin and electric guitar
aT and dC met in Regis University in Denver, Colorado, where they are both on the music faculty. dC is the head of the guitar program and aT is the odd-job collaborative pianist. They first performed together on “Undying Wind”, a piece by Regis composition professor Loretta Notareschi.
On a whim, they decided to record all the songs from the classic 1980 Queen album The Game over two days in June of 2017 using fretted instruments and pianos. The album was released on September 25, 2017 and is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and in a limited-edition CD.
